Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.

• Proficient in SQL (our databases are MySQL and PostgreSQL).
• Have worked with production databases and systems to extract accurate data reports.
• Experience with BI tools (AWS QuickSight or Power BI) is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of Python, and Bash scripts for automation tasks.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Report Preparation: Use SQL to prepare accurate and detailed reports for the management/Finance team.
• Lead BI stream for the company: Lead research and adaptation of a new Business Intelligence (BI) tool (AWS QuickSight, Power BI or other) to match the company's BI requirements.
• Automate routine tasks using Python, enhancing efficiency and reducing manual workloads.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the finance team and management to understand data needs and provide accurate and timely insights.
• Provide support to DEV and SysOps teams in troubleshooting issues.
• Learn about the system domain/functionalities, other technologies needed for working like Python (Flask framework), API management, different database engines (MySQL, PostgreSQL), etc.
