  • Work Hours: 8AM - 5PM, 9AM - 1PM Saturday

Responsibilities

  • Managing Individual accounts
  • Approaching new accounts and quoting rates
  • Handling air freight shipments, rates, operations, tracking
  • Handling transport and wharf age requirements when the need arises
  • Resolving contractual and commercial disputes with suppliers and customers
  • Maintaining excellent relationships with customers and suppliers to enhance business and additional trade lanes
  • Executing presentations related to individual performance, statistical (volumes), and related market information
  • Assisting with the formulation of forecasts
  • Credit grants as per company regulations and collection of debts
  • Import shipment customer coordination preparation for direct orders

Requirements

  • CIM or a diploma or degree related to Transport or Logistics & Supply Chain Management, with 4- 5 years
  • Experience in the freight forwarding industry
  • Exceptional sales skills, marketing skills, customer service skills, and leadership skills
  • A thorough knowledge of the scope of work
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills, good presentation skills, and negotiation skills
  • Proficiency in computer applications such as MS Office, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint will be an added advantage
