Responsibilities

• Building and Publishing Datasets: Develop and maintain robust datasets that accurately capture and organize data from various sources, ensuring data integrity and reliability.

• Incorporating Row Level and Object Level Security: Implement comprehensive security measures, including both row level and object level security, to ensure data confidentiality, restricted access, and controlled interactions based on user roles.

• UI/UX - Report and Dashboard Design: Create visually appealing and user-friendly dashboards that effectively convey complex data insights to stakeholders.

• Publishing and Automation: Utilize CI/CD pipelines to automate the deployment of reports and datasets ensuring smooth and efficient rollouts.

• Workspace Management and Security: Manage Power BI workspaces, ensuring proper access controls and security configurations

• for a seamless user experience. Change Detection Updates: Implement mechanisms to provide updates based on data changes, optimizing data refresh processes.

• Data Integration Strategy: Analyze and recommend optimal approaches between live feeds and data pushing for efficient data integration.

• Power BI Gateway Setup: Configure and maintain Power Bl gateways to establish secure and reliable connections to on-premises data sources.

• Advanced Query and Calculation Expertise: Leverage your expertise in DAX, MDX, SQL, and Power Query to create complex calculations, measures, transformations and queries.

• Performance Tuning and Big Data Handling: Optimize report performance and handle large datasets effectively, incorporating aggregations and optimizations.

Skills / Experience

Technical Expertise:

• Extensive experience with Power BI, DAX, MDX, SQL, and Power Query. Familiarity with performance tuning, aggregations, and handling big data. - Familiarity with Git branching strategies for version control and collaborative development of Power BI projects

• Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into understandable terms for non-technical stakeholders.

• Collaboration: A team player who thrives in a collaborative environment, working closely with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders. Have worked in an agile development environment.

• Presentation Skills: Ability to create compelling and insightful presentations that effectively communicate data-driven insights.

• Customer Interaction: Comfortable interacting with clients and customers to gather requirements, provide updates, and address concerns.

• 3 more years experience on Power BI

• Hotel/Hospitality Industry Domain knowledge would be an added advantage.
