WE ARE HIRING: Senior Test Automation Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Test Automation Engineer with strong expertise in the banking domain and proven experience in Non-Functional Requirements (NFR) testing. This role will lead the design, development, and execution of automated testing strategies to ensure the highest quality of both functional and non-functional aspects of software applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for functional and NFR testing (performance, security, scalability).
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and business analysts to gather requirements and create comprehensive test plans.
• Review system specifications to ensure coverage of both functional and non-functional criteria.
• Identify, document, and track defects, ensuring timely resolution in collaboration with development teams.
• Lead performance testing efforts using tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, or Playwright, and analyze results for actionable insights.
• Mentor and guide junior QA team members on automation frameworks, best practices, and NFR testing methodologies.
• Enhance and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support automated testing processes.
• Stay up to date with industry best practices and emerging trends in test automation and NFR testing.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in test automation, preferably in the banking/financial services domain.
• Proficiency in automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, Playwright, TestNG, or equivalent frameworks.
• Extensive experience with performance and security testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner, OWASP ZAP).
• Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and CI/CD practices.
• Experience in AI model testing and related tools will be an added advantage.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Familiarity with banking regulations and compliance standards is a plus.
