Job description

A pioneering diversified conglomerate and the market leader in the footwear industry invite applications from qualified, results-oriented, self-motivated and dynamic individuals for the above position. CIMA qualified, or at final stage, and age below 32 years of age. Experience in Audit, Budgeting and Management Accounting. CIMA . Management accounting experience

EDUCATION:

Degree in Accounting/Finance or Statistics from a reputed university Passed Finalist or Fully Qualified in CIMA / ICASL / ACCA

EXPERIENCE:

Minimum 08 years of working experience, and minimum 03 years of experience in a similar position. Excellent knowledge in Budgeting, Corporate Planning, Feasibility Studies, Profitability Forecast, Profitability Analysis, Internal Controls, Risk Management, and Risk Analysis and preparing Management Reports for decision making.

Competency in MS Office package is a must (MS Excel/ MS Word/ MS Power Point).

Ability to work in a fully computer integrated environment (IFS) and sound knowledge in Accounting Software.

BEHAVIOURAL:

Strong analytical and problem solving skills for timely decision making.

Excellent leadership and interdependent skills with perseverance for result orientation.

Strong business acumen for result orientation independently.

Strong verbal and written communication skills with emphasis on interpersonal, Presentation, Negotiation skills in both Sinhala and English.

Periodical and timely reporting/ information flow to the Top Management for critical decisions to be taken.
