Key Responsibilities 

1. Network Management:

   • Monitor and maintain network performance by performing network monitoring and analysis.
   • Troubleshoot network problems and outages; schedule upgrades and collaborate with network architects on network optimization.

2. Installation and Configuration:

   • Install and configure network hardware and software.
   • Set up user accounts, permissions, and passwords to ensure proper security measures are in place.

3. Security:

   • Implement and maintain network security measures to protect data, software, and hardware.
   • Conduct regular security audits, backups, and disaster recovery operations.

4. Support and Troubleshooting:

   • Provide technical support and guidance to users regarding network-related issues.
   • Respond to service issues and requests promptly and effectively.

5. Documentation and Reporting:

   • Document network configurations, updates, and changes.
   • Generate reports on network status, including usage, performance, and security metrics.

6. Collaboration:

   • Work with IT team members to coordinate projects and initiatives.
   • Liaise with vendors and third-party service providers for network services and equipment.

7. Continuous Improvement:

   • Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends and best practices in network administration.
   • Propose and implement enhancements to improve network performance and reliability.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience:

• 3-4 years of experience in network administration or a related IT role.

• Proven experience with network capacity planning, network security principles, and general network management best practices.

Skills:

• In-depth knowledge of network protocols, firewall management, and network security practices.

• Experience with network diagnostic, monitoring, and analysis tools.

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
