Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in computer science or software engineering or equivalent qualifications with 2+ years of experience in DevOps
• Experience working with cloud platforms Azure (primary), AWS
• Experience managing relational and non-relational databases.
• Good knowledge of CI/CD solutions
• Good knowledge of containerization technologies such as ECS, EKS, Docker and Kubernetes
• Exposure to Infrastructure such as Code Tools, Terraform and Ansible
• Excellent oral and written communication skills with a keen sense of customer service
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Process-oriented with good documentation skills.
• Knowledge of best practices and IT operations
• Knowledge of Agile Software Development methodologies

Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Building and setting up new development tools and infrastructure.
• Automating and improving development and release processes.
• Ensuring systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats.
• Identifying technical problems and developing software updates and fixes.
• Collaborating with software engineers to ensure development follows established processes.
• Brainstorming with the team to tackle complex technological infrastructure, security, or development problems.
• Implementing and managing Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment processes.
• Using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation for automated provisioning and configuration of infrastructure components.
• Setting up monitoring tools for tracking system performance and health and implementing logging solutions for troubleshooting and optimization.
• Automating deployment processes to ensure consistent deployments across different environments.
• Working with containerization technologies like Docker and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes for efficient application packaging and deployment.
• Implementing security best practices throughout the development and deployment lifecycle, including vulnerability assessments and access controls.
• Fostering collaboration between development, operations, and other stakeholders to facilitate communication and knowledge sharing.
• Identifying and optimizing performance bottlenecks to improve system efficiency and scalability.
• Designing and implementing strategies for disaster recovery and ensuring high availability of critical systems.
• Staying updated with emerging technologies and industry best practices to continuously improve processes and tools for software delivery.
