Senior Executive - Corporate Governance

Location: Colombo, Sri Lanka

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with governance regulations & policies
• Develop and implement corporate governance frameworks
• Monitor regulatory changes & advise on compliance impacts
• Centralize, digitize, and standardize legal & contractual data
• Coordinate board & committee meetings, including documentation
• Draft and review governance reports, board resolutions & minutes
• Oversee internal controls, audits & risk assessments
• Collaborate with leadership, country heads & regulatory bodies
• Conduct governance audits and recommend policy improvements

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelors degree in Law, Business Administration, Finance, or related fields
• Certifications such as CGP, Corporate Governance Certification, CIA, or CRM are a plus
• 5-8 years of experience in corporate governance, compliance, legal, or risk management
• Strong knowledge of governance frameworks & regulatory compliance
• Ability to influence senior leadership & drive governance initiatives
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving & decision-making skills
• High level of integrity, ethics & professionalism
