The Role

Were looking for a Senior Laravel Engineer to join our growing tech team. You will be instrumental in building scalable, high-performance internal tools and customer-facing platforms. If you're passionate about clean code, performance optimization, and solving complex data challenges, this is your stage.

What You'll Do

  • Write backend code using Laravel, PHP, and MySQL
  • Design REST APIs and integrate with React frontends
  • Manage large, relational databases and optimize query performance
  • Implement robust testing and CI/CD processes
  • Collaborate with global teams and contribute to product planning
  • Guide and mentor junior developers as the team grows
  • Tackle complex data challenges (ETL, real-time calculations, concurrency)

Tech Stack You'll Work With

  • Backend: Laravel, PHP

  • Frontend (with integration): React

  • Cloud Services: AWS (RDS, S3, Lambda, CloudFront, API Gateway)

  • Data Tools: Eloquent ORM, SQL, Streams, ETL

  • Other Tools: WordPress (optional), Microsoft Excel (optional)

Required Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years in commercial software development

  • 3+ years of hands-on Laravel experience

  • Strong knowledge of PHP, MVC, REST APIs, and relational DBs

  • Familiar with Laravel Jobs, queues, and AWS services

  • Strong written and verbal communication in English

  • Experience with high-volume, high-concurrency systems

Desirable (Bonus) Qualities

  • Degree in Software Engineering or related field

  • Familiarity with React, CI/CD pipelines

  • WordPress experience

  • Excited by large datasets, optimization, and algorithm challenges

  • Start-up/scale-up mindset with attention to detail
