Sales Executive

Job Summary:

The Sales Executive is responsible for generating new business opportunities, maintaining client relationships, and achieving sales targets for IT solutions and services. This role requires a proactive sales approach, a strong technical understanding of IT products and services, and the ability to effectively communicate solutions that address client needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in Enterprise Solutions, Managed Services, and Software Solutions.
  • Engage with potential clients to understand their IT requirements and present appropriate solutions.
  • Generate leads, qualify prospects, and convert them into customers.
  • Meet and exceed assigned sales targets and revenue goals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
  • Conduct regular follow-ups to ensure customer satisfaction and identify upselling opportunities.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for client queries and technical discussions, coordinating with the pre-sales and technical teams as needed.
  • Develop a strong understanding of IT products and services, including cloud solutions, cybersecurity, enterprise applications, IT infrastructure, and software development.
  • Conduct sales presentations, demonstrations, and client meetings to showcase IT solutions.
  • Prepare and deliver proposals, quotations, and contract negotiations.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and the competitive landscape.
  • Provide insights on market demands and customer pain points to enhance sales strategies.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and deal progress in CRM systems.
  • Provide regular sales reports and forecasts to the Head of Department and relevant Business Head.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in IT sales, business development, or a related role.
  • Knowledge of IT solutions, cloud services, enterprise software, managed services, and cybersecurity.
  • Strong understanding of solution-based selling and consultative sales approaches.
  • Ability to explain complex IT solutions in a business-friendly manner.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools, Microsoft Office Suite, and sales automation software.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a customer-first mindset.
  • Goal-oriented and self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
  • Ability to handle multiple sales engagements simultaneously.
