Tasks and Responsibilities:

Environmental Sustainability Strategy Formulation & Deployment

• Actively engage and contribute to the strategy formulation of the Environmental sustainability strategy process and internal polices considering

• key stakeholder requirements including organization's vision and goals and formulation of the implementation plan

Energy and Carbon (GHG Emissions), Chemical Sustainability Management

• Manage the cluster initiatives with a Science Based Target Initiative (SBTI) commitment by exploring different technologies, research frameworks with Authorities whilst collaborating with GHR for legal infrastructure and reporting functions to achieve committed goals in collaboration with group sustainability lead and cluster lead.

• Actively engage in the implementation of the strategies for the road map on ZDHC (Zero Discharge of Hazardous Chemicals) by working with Internal/External parties to identify toxic elements in produced/material and propose alternative solutions

Water, Wastewater and Air Emissions Management, Waste Management

• Explore opportunities and solutions to effective waste management initiatives such as collaborate exploration of different technologies, collaborating with internal/external teams to identify/pilot projects

• Provide required guidance on segregation of waste and report as per stake holler requirements in order to achieve the intended goals

Engagement with Supply Chain functions & value-adding service providers (embellished/washing)

• Engage and collaborate with selected supply chain partners and service providers in order to achieve the identified goals by implementing of strategies by extending technical support and guidance based on industry tools

• and continuous monitoring to improve the sustainability performance among the supply chain partners

Environmental Managements Systems (EMS) & Capacity Building

• Dive the implementation of EMS across the facilities and selected supply chain partners by sharing knowledge and continuous evaluations for internal/external parties to ensure risk mitigation and achieve the desired culture
• Engage and contribute to the development of the internal team's skills and knowledge
• Sustain motivation levels through identified L&D prog, coaching and mentoring enabling empowerment and creating next level of leaders

Sustainability Communications, Culture and Internal External Engagement

• Manage the identified initiatives/activities in an efficient and effective manner whilst, constantly focusing on continuous improvement in communications
• Engagement towards inculcating a culture of Environmental sustainability beyond meeting stakeholder expectations

Attending for management meetings and preparation of reports

• Have monthly meetings with to discuss sustainability predict implementation issues and improvement suggestions

Additional duties commensurate with the current role, as and when requested by management

• Quality of service delivered.
• Annually plan & conduct sustainability-related CSR
