Requirements 

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in sales within the freight forwarding, customs brokerage, or logistics industry.
  • Strong knowledge of import/export regulations, customs clearance procedures, and transportation logistics.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and CRM software.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience with freight forwarding.
  • Familiarity with customs brokerage

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Development:

  • Identify and target potential clients in need of customs brokerage and ground transportation services.
  • Maintain and exceed sales targets assigned by the management and encourage cross-selling within the company/group.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations to potential clients, showcasing the company's services and value propositions.
  • Maintaining the recovery of invoice amounts.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients to understand their business needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct regular follow-ups with clients to ensure service delivery and explore opportunities for upselling or cross-selling additional services.

Reporting and Analysis:

  • Prepare regular sales reports, including pipeline status, sales achievements, and
    market analysis.
  • Analyze sales performance data to identify areas for improvement and adjust
    strategies as needed.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to senior management based on market
    trends and client feedback.
  • Adhere to the CRM policy and follow the procedures.

Team Collaboration:

  • Work closely with other sales team members, sharing knowledge and best
    practices.
  • Support the training and development of junior sales staff.
  • Participate in team meetings, strategy sessions, and sales training programs.
