Duties & Responsibilities
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Team Leadership and Management
- Supervise and mentor a team of IT technicians and engineers, fostering a collaborative and results-driven work environment.
- Delegate tasks effectively, set performance goals, conduct regular performance evaluations, and provide continuous coaching and feedback.
- Encourage skill development and facilitate training to enhance the team's technical abilities.
Service Delivery and Quality Assurance
- Ensure the timely and efficient delivery of managed services to clients according to agreed-upon service level agreements (SLAs).
- Monitor service performance metrics and implement improvement strategies to enhance service quality and customer satisfaction.
- Oversee incident management and resolution processes to minimize downtime and maximize service availability.
Customer Relationship Management
- Act as the main point of contact for managed services clients, building strong, longlisting relationships. Proactively engage with clients to understand their evolving needs, challenges, and expectations, and work with the team to tailor solutions accordingly.
- Conduct regular service reviews with clients to evaluate service performance, address concerns, and identify areas for improvement.
Service Optimization and Continuous Improvement
- Analyze existing processes, systems, and tools to identify opportunities for process optimization and cost-effective service delivery.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement best practices, streamline workflows, and improve overall service efficiency.

- Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends, recommending innovative solutions to enhance service offerings.
- Collaborate with the IT infrastructure team to ensure the proper maintenance, security, and scalability of the IT environment.
Contract Management and Budgeting
- Assist in the negotiation and development of managed services contracts, ensuring alignment with client requirements and business objectives.
- Manage the budget and timelines for the managed services department, tracking expenses and ensuring cost-effectiveness in service delivery.
Education & Experience
- Bachelors degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.
- Proven experience (typically 5+ years) in managing IT managed services, with a track record of successful service delivery and client relationship management.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and mentor team members. Solid understanding of software development methodologies and cloud technologies.
- Understanding of Analytics and Data platforms is an advantage.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact and manage expectations with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
- A critical thinker with an analytical mindset, the ability to identify and solve complex technical and business problems.
- Strong project management and organizational skills to handle multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
- Ability to keep a calm demeanor whilst working under pressure, with excellent negotiation skills and the ability to resolve conflict with a win-win mindset.
