Responsibilities:
Business Development:
- Identify and target potential clients within the freight forwarding and logistics industry.
- Develop and execute strategic plans to expand the company's customer base and revenue streams.
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline of prospective clients through market research and networking.
Client Relationship Management:
- Foster strong, long-lasting relationships with existing clients, understanding their needs exceptional service delivery.
- Act as the primary point of contact for key clients, addressing inquiries and concerns promptly.
Marketing Strategy:
- Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies that align with the company's goals and target audience.
- Plan and execute marketing campaigns, including digital marketing, trade shows, and industry events.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with the operations team to ensure seamless execution of services and customer satisfaction. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align business development and marketing efforts with overall company objectives.
Requirements:
- A bachelor's degree or a diploma in transportation and logistics, or a related field.
- Proven track record of at least 5 years in business development and marketing roles within the logistics or freight forwarding industry.
- Strong understanding of logistics operations, supply chain management, and industry dynamics.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels.
- Demonstrated experience in creating and executing successful marketing strategies.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in relevant software and tools, including CRM systems and digital marketing platforms
