Front End Developer opportunity in automotive industry

• Location: Colombo

• Work Type: Onsite/ Hybrid

• Work Hours: 7:30AM - 4:30PM with 1 hour break

• Working Days: Mon-Fri

• Type of Appointment: Permanent

REQUIREMENTS:

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript, with a willingness to learn and develop skills in VueJS 3 and NuxtJS frameworks.
• Basic understanding or experience in front-end development, with an eagerness to grow in this area, especially with VueJS and related technologies.
• Solid understanding of or experience with Server-Side Rendering (SSR) techniques and challenges, particularly in relation to VueJS/NuxtJS.
• Solid foundation in web markup, including HTML5 and CSS3.
• Experience with CSS pre-processors like SASS or LESS is advantageous.
• Familiarity with JavaScript build tools, such as Webpack or Gulp, is beneficial.
• Ability to understand and implement responsive and adaptive design principles.
• Knowledge of version control systems, preferably Git.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Experience with backend technologies
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs
• Knowledge of SEO principles.
• Familiarity with the microservices architecture

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Develop and maintain web applications using VueJS 3 or NuxtJS.
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code that adheres to industry best practices.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge with the team.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with existing applications.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in front-end development and continuously improve skills.
