WE ARE HIRING: Business Development Executive

 
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Drive sales acquisition by proactively identifying and engaging potential business
• clients through market research, cold calling, networking, and field visits.
• Generate qualified leads and maintain a healthy sales pipeline.
• Approach prospective clients to understand their logistics needs and present tailored courier and delivery solutions.
• Prepare customized sales proposals, quotations, and service plans in response to client requirements.
• Ensure timely follow-ups and close deals to meet acquisition targets.
• and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients to foster long-term partnerships.
• Act as the key point of contact for client queries and ongoing support.
• Monitor market trends, customer behavior, and competitor activities to refine outreach strategies.
• Provide regular updates and reports on sales activities, lead status, and market feedback.
• Work closely with the marketing and operations teams to support campaigns, events, and promotions.
• Participate in customer engagement activities, trade events, and corporate promotions.

REQUIREMENTS

• A diploma or degree in Marketing, Business Management or Sales.
• 1 - 3 years of experience in sales, business development, or client management (experience in logistics/courier industry is an added advantage).
• Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently, handle field visits, and meet sales targets.
• Computer literacy (MS Office) and proficiency in English and Sinhala (Tamil is a plus).
