Senior Accountant - Accounts Production Opportunity.

• Location: Colombo 1

• Work Type: Onsite (remote Mon/Friday possible after 1 year)

• Work Hours: 10am to 7pm

• Working Days: Monday- Friday

Key Responsibilities
-Lead the execution of daily, weekly, and monthly bank reconciliations in Xero and
QuickBooks, ensuring precision and timely completion.

-Manage the preparation and filing of all tax returns, including VAT and payroll taxes,
adhering to local regulations and deadlines.

-Supervise the creation of comprehensive financial reports for management, delivering
accurate insights into the company's financial status.

-Identify and rectify discrepancies and issues within financial records in Xero and
QuickBooks, maintaining the integrity of financial data.

-Facilitate cross-training initiatives to enhance team capabilities and provide ongoing
support to fellow and new team members, fostering a collaborative environment.

Experience
-2-3 years of accounting practice experience ideally working in BPO environment
ACA/ACCA/CPA/CIMA/ATI qualified (Part-Qualified with experience).

-Undergraduate degree in accounting, commerce (preferred)

-Experience preparing monthly management reports

-Experience preparing all the usual tax returns (payroll, VAT, corporation tax)(non Ireland
is fine)

-Experience in Xero or comparable bookkeeping software (Quickbooks, Surf, Sage
Online)

-Other systems include Cin 7, Dext, Parolla/Brightpay, Fathom HQ/Syft, other Xero
marketplace plug-ins, Amazon marketplace, Shopify/WooCommerce, Google Office.
