Job Title: Assistant Manager - Reefer Operations

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 Years experience in reefer refrigeration & maintenance
• Ability to read electrical diagrams and use measuring devices
• Knowledge of inhouse operating tools and manufacture software
• Knowledge of work procedure in Terminal
• Critical thinking
• Teamwork and teambuilding
• Excellent leadership
• Good communication skills
• Attention to detail

Responsibilities:

• Inspect the condition of the reefer containers and, in the event of malfunctions in the installations, diagnose the causes and draw up estimates for repairs
• Carry out repair operations on these refer systems, in compliance with estimates: handling reefer, silver soldering, electrical wiring, connection to the various components of the reefer unit control box, etc.
• Carry out operating tests and adjusting settings if necessary (operating parameters, regulations, temperature, pressures)
• Working on third party sites, port terminals and /or on-board ships to carry out maintenance and /or monitoring operations
• Corresponding with the relevant Lines, Terminals upon completion of repairs of each container
• Ensure the quality of repairs carried out in accordance with customer procedures and in compliance with the equipment used and the safety and environmental standards when handling fluids
• Carry out administrative tasks related to your area of activity
• Coordinate with OEM's and signing contracts, LC opening and maintain stocks
• Opening a Bond facility and maintaining the stipulated guidelines
• Build a team to takeover the reefer repairs completely
