WE ARE HIRING: Assistant Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day port agency and husbandry operations to ensure timely and efficient service delivery.

  • Lead and supervise a team of operations staff, providing guidance, support, and performance feedback.

  • Coordinate with ship owners, masters, and port authorities to facilitate smooth vessel turnaround.

  • Ensure all port calls are handled in compliance with company policies and international maritime standards.

  • Manage operational documentation and reporting, including DA (Disbursement Accounts), SOF (Statement of Facts), and arrival/departure notifications.

  • Handle incident management, escalation, and resolution of operational issues.

  • Monitor and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through quality service.

  • Contribute to continuous process improvement and operational efficiency.

  • Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations during all operations.

Key Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a supervisory role (Team Leader, Supervisor, Assistant Manager, etc.) within port agency and husbandry operations.

  • Currently working in a role that involves port agency and husbandry activities.

  • Proven leadership and team management capabilities.

  • Strong knowledge of port procedures, documentation, and maritime regulations.

  • Fluent in both written and spoken English.

  • Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
