WE ARE HIRING: Coordinator Student, Alumni & Corporate Engagement / CGU
Location: Kohuwala
Working Days - Monday to Saturday
Working Time - Weekdays - 8am to 5pm and on Saturday - 8am to 1pm
Working Mode- On site
Key Responsibilities
Alumni Relations
- Develop and implement strategic plans for alumni engagement and career support
- Provide career counseling, coaching, and guidance to alumni for job searches, transitions, and skill development
- Organize workshops, webinars, and seminars on topics such as entrepreneurship, job market trends, and leadership
- Build and maintain strong alumni networks through consistent communication and engagement strategies
- Establish external partnerships with organizations and recruiters for alumni job opportunities
Academic Enrichment Programmed
- Collaborate with academic departments to integrate career development into curricula
- Develop and manage programs such as internships, study abroad opportunities, and experiential learning
- Monitor and assess program effectiveness and recommend improvements
Corporate Partnership & Relations
- Establish and grow relationships with industry professionals and companies for internships and job placements
- Secure new partnerships aligned with institutional goals and student career aspirations
- Organize career fairs, recruitment drives, and networking events
Skill Development Initiatives
- Design and manage skill development programs aligned with industry needs
- Identify market skill gaps and implement relevant training modules
- Create annual training calendars in collaboration with academic coordinators
Career Counseling Services
- Provide individual and group counseling to students and alumni
- Maintain a comprehensive framework for effective career counseling
- Stay current on trends and integrate best practices into service delivery
Data Management & Reporting
- Analyze and report data on CGU service usage and effectiveness
- Prepare regular reports for senior management
- Use insights from data to optimize future programming and initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Career Counseling, Higher Education Administration, HR, or related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in career services or counseling
- Proven leadership in a higher education or similar environment
- Strong understanding of career development theories and employment trends
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building ability
- Proficient in data analysis and reporting tools
