Job Title: Senior Manager Pre-Sales

Job Summary:

The Senior Manager Pre-Sales is responsible for leading technical solutioning, proposal development, and customer engagement for Enterprise Solutions, Managed Services, and Software Solutions.

This role collaborates closely with sales, delivery, and product teams to craft compelling technical solutions, support customer discussions, and drive business growth. The ideal candidate should possess deep technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to align technology with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Lead pre-sales activities across Enterprise Solutions, Managed Services, and Software Solutions.
  • Work closely with sales teams to align technical solutions with business opportunities and revenue targets.
  • Develop and standardize pre-sales processes, documentation, and proposal frameworks.
  • Mentor and train pre-sales team members to enhance technical and consultative selling capabilities.
  • Work with sales teams to analyze customer requirements and design tailored IT solutions.
  • Develop high-quality proposals, responses to RFPs/RFIs, and presentations.
  • Ensure proposed solutions are technically sound, scalable, and cost-effective.
  • Conduct technical feasibility analysis and solution validation with internal teams.
  • Participate in client meetings, presenting technical solutions and addressing queries.
  • Conduct product demonstrations, proof-of-concept (PoC) sessions, and solution workshops.
  • Translate complex technical concepts into business language for executive stakeholders.
  • Position the company as a trusted advisor by demonstrating deep industry and technical knowledge.
  • Liaise with product and engineering teams to ensure pre-sales solutions align with delivery capabilities.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to drive go-to-market (GTM) strategies for Enterprise, Managed, and Software Solutions.
  • Provide feedback to product management teams on customer needs and market demands.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies.
  • Identify new opportunities in cloud, cybersecurity, IT infrastructure, enterprise applications, and digital transformation.
  • Contribute to thought leadership through whitepapers, case studies, and industry events.

Key Skills & Qualifications:


Educational & Professional Background

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. A Masters degree (MBA) is preferred.
  • 6+ years of experience in IT pre-sales, solution architecture, or technical consulting.
  • Proven track record in designing solutions for Enterprise Solutions, Managed Services, and Software Solutions domains.

Technical & Business Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of Enterprise Solutions (ERP, CRM, Cloud, IT Infrastructure, Security).
  • Expertise in Managed Services (IT outsourcing, cloud migration, network & security, IT support).
  • Experience in Software Solutions (custom development, SaaS, automation, AI/ML).
  • Ability to create technical proposals, presentations, and pricing models.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and enterprise applications.

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple engagements.
