Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic, dedicated, and self motivated Sales Executive to support business growth and strengthen client relationships within the supply chain and freight forwarding industry.
The selected candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong relationships with clients, driving sales plans, achieving monthly targets, and delivering excellent customer service. This role is ideal for a results oriented professional who is passionate about sales, client engagement, and growing business in a competitive logistics environment.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development and Sales Growth
- Identify and prospect new business opportunities and clients
- through cold calling and direct sales activities.
- Build and develop strong relationships with both new and existing clients.
- Create and drive sales plans and strategies to successfully achieve monthly sales goals and business initiatives.
- Follow up on client referrals and convert leads into business opportunities.
- Contribute to expanding the customer base and increasing revenue growth.
Client Relationship Management
- Maintain regular follow up with clients to encourage upselling, retention, and repeat business.
- Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable freight forwarding and logistics solutions.
- Provide responsive customer service and resolve client issues quickly and efficiently.
- Maintain strong customer relationships by ensuring satisfaction and timely communication.
Sales Coordination and Market Support
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth service delivery for clients.
- Prepare sales related updates, activity reports, and pipeline progress reports.
- Monitor market opportunities and support management with relevant client and industry feedback.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions, follow ups, and business development activities.
Performance and Professional Standards
- Meet assigned sales targets and performance expectations.
- Demonstrate strong judgment and sound decision making in client and sales related matters.
- Work effectively under pressure in a target driven environment.
- Represent the organization professionally while maintaining strong ethics and customer focus.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum 2 years of experience in sales.
- Experience in the freight forwarding industry will be an added advantage.
- Excellent communication skills with a good command of English.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to perform effectively under pressure.
- Strong judgment and decision making skills.
- Self driven, motivated, and target oriented.
- Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Good coordination and follow up skills.
- Previous experience in logistics, supply chain, shipping, or transportation related sales will be an added advantage.
