Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning and Execution:
- Guide preparation of medium to long-term Group strategic plans and annual budgets.
- Integrate insights from subsidiaries for cohesive and impactful plans.
- Strengthen Financial Position:
- Enhance financial policies, processes, and procedures.
- Collaborate with finance divisions to ensure financial stability and growth.
- Strategic Financial Leadership:
- Shape long-term financial direction aligning goals with business growth.
- Partner with senior leadership for effective financial strategies.
- Financial Planning and Budget Management:
- Lead group-wide budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Provide actionable insights to executive leadership.
- Capital Budgeting and Investment Analysis:
- Oversee capital budgeting and investment proposals.
- Prioritize high-impact investments.
- Cash Flow and Working Capital Oversight:
- Implement cash and capital management systems.
- Optimize credit terms and financing options with banking partners.
- Internal Controls and Compliance:
- Strengthen internal controls ensuring compliance with standards.
- Provide regular risk assessments.
- Financial Reporting and Data Management:
- Oversee financial reporting and business intelligence.
- Optimize ERP and reporting systems.
- Tax Strategy and Stakeholder Relationships:
- Lead proactive tax planning and compliance.
- Build relationships with banks, investors, and other stakeholders.
Candidate Profile:
- Chartered Accountant (Sri Lanka or equivalent) with a Masters in Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
- 15+ years in finance, with at least 5 years in senior management in a multi-industry environment.
- Expertise in financial analysis, forecasting, and risk management.
- Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems.
- Strong analytical skills and decision-making capabilities.
- High ethical standards and commitment to continuous improvement.
