Job Title: Senior Data Engineer
Location: Colombo, Sri Lanka

Role Purpose and Accountabilities

• Be a key player in the setup and ongoing management of Superloops Data Warehouse.
• Design and maintain data pipelines, ETL processes, and data ingestion workflows.
• Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and reliability.
• Perform data profiling, cleansing, and transformation for analytics and reporting.
• Optimize data warehouse performance and resolve any bottlenecks.
• Ensure data security, compliance, and governance standards.
• Collaborate with Data Analysts to deliver clean, structured data for analysis.
• Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging technologies.
  

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Proven experience as a Data Engineer with a focus on data warehousing and ETL processes.
• Proficiency in dbt and Dagster or equivalent data orchestration tools.
• Experience with AWS Redshift for data warehousing and processing.
• Strong SQL skills for data querying, manipulation, and optimization.
• Proficiency in Python for automating data processes.
• Experience handling large data volumes and complex data models.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Experience in the telecom industry is preferred.
