Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and detail oriented Associate Merchandiser / Merchandiser to support apparel merchandise sourcing, client coordination, product development, costing, T and A management, order follow up, and sourcing related activities.

The selected candidate will be responsible for coordinating day to day merchandising operations, responding to client inquiries, managing customer requirements, supporting product development, following up on sourcing activities, and ensuring company KPIs are achieved.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond to and follow up on inquiries, issues, and concerns raised by clients and global offices.
• Manage merchandising activities including T and A management, costing, product development, and order coordination.
  
• Support client account management from product development to order processing.
• Coordinate with internal teams, factories, suppliers, and clients to ensure smooth merchandising operations.
  
• Follow up on business development leads and sourcing activities in assigned markets.
• Work proactively with the team to achieve company KPIs and delivery expectations.
  
• Support costing, WIP management, sample follow up, and product development activities.
• Communicate independently with clients and resolve merchandising related issues.
  
• Travel to factories when required to troubleshoot issues and build 
• strong working relationships.
• Maintain proper communication, documentation, and follow up across all merchandising activities.

Candidate Profile

• For Associate Merchandiser, minimum 1 to 2 years of experience in merchandising or a related field.
• For Merchandiser, minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in merchandising.
  
• Degree, diploma, or equivalent qualification in Apparel, Merchandising, or a related field will be preferred.
• Experience managing customers directly is an important requirement.
  
• Basic understanding of costing and WIP management is required for Merchandiser level.
• Experience in intimates wear will be an added advantage.
  
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
  
• Good working knowledge of MS Word and MS Excel.
• Willingness to learn and work in a positive team environment.
  
• Ability to work independently, manage follow ups, and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to handle client requirements professionally.
