Position: Head of Delivery

Work Schedule:

• Working Days: Monday to Friday
• Working Time : 3:00 PM 12:00 AM
• Other Features: Full-time, US Calendar Applicable

Role Overview:

As the Head of Delivery, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful execution of projects, ensuring efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction. This role demands strong leadership, technical acumen, and the ability to drive operational excellence in software delivery while aligning projects with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage end-to-end project delivery, ensuring projects are completed within scope, on time, and with high quality.
• Implement best practices for project execution, delivery governance, and risk management.
• Drive Agile and Lean methodologies across teams to enhance efficiency and adaptability.
• Act as the primary escalation point for delivery challenges, removing roadblocks and streamlining workflows.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Operations teams to align project execution with business goals.
• Oversee backlog management, sprint planning, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Monitor and enhance team velocity, productivity, and adherence to project timelines.
• Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and improve project success.
• Maintain transparency with stakeholders regarding project progress, risks, and mitigation strategies.
• Lead training and knowledge-sharing sessions to foster a high-performance culture.
• Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to improve delivery efficiency.
• Manage and mentor a team of release managers, project managers, and other professionals to ensure profitability and success.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Management, or Information Systems.
• 10+ years of experience in project/program management, software delivery, or related leadership roles.
• Strong technical acumen (experience as a Software Engineering Manager/Architect) to evaluate release/feature estimates and implementation efforts.
• Expertise in Agile, Scrum, and other delivery methodologies.
• Proven ability to manage complex projects while ensuring high-quality, on-time delivery.
• Excellent communication skills to engage with team members, stakeholders, and clients.
• Proficiency in project management tools like Jira, Confluence, or similar platforms.
• Strong leadership, team-building, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Ability to identify risks, troubleshoot issues, and implement effective solutions.
