Job Role : Cashier


Responsibilities and Duties

• Accountable for daily receipting.
• Verify relevant documents before accepting cash and releasing payments.
• Operate receipting systems, scanners, printers, and credit/debit card terminals.
• Ensure compliance with corporate policies and guidelines.
• Perform shift-end/day-end cash counts and generate reports.
• Provide reconciliations as requested by Management.
• Liaise with Customs for daily payments and reporting.
• Work with the retail team to process daily collections and banking.
• Coordinate with cash collectors for daily banking activities.

Personal Profile

• Successfully completed GCE Advanced Level, preferably in commerce or mathematics streams.
• Partial or full professional qualifications in finance would be advantageous.
• Strong mathematical skills and the ability to handle transactions quickly and accurately.
• Proficient in English, both written and verbal.
• Experience working in a computerized environment is essential.
• Prior experience in a similar role is highly advantageous.
