Junior Research Analyst/Research Analyst

Job Title: Junior Research Analyst/ Research Analyst (Industry: Financial Services)

Job Location: Colombo, Sri Lanka

Working Days: Monday to Friday

Work Hours: 8 am to 5 pm

Work Type: Onsite

Requirements: 

• Experience in equity research (1-4 years )
• Preferably having worked for a stock brokering company/corporate finance experience
• Knowledge on valuation techniques
• Ability to work independently
• Excellent presentation skills
• A degree in Finance/Maths or other relevant area
• Professional qualifications such as CIMA, ACCA, CA
• Completion of CFA level 1 or above will be an added advantage

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Be updated on the economic social and political environment and share knowledge with the advisors
• Be updated on the companies listed on the CSE and share knowledge with the advisors
• Conduct valuations on companies listed on CSE and compile reports to be distributed among company clients
• Compile sector reports
• Maintenance of databases
• Analysis of daily trade statistics
