About the job Procurement Manager

Responsibility in negotiating, raw material & packing material rates with suppliers while ensuring company targets are being met.

Responsibility in delivering company financial targets with regards to Purchase Price Variance (PPV), Working Capital (NWC) & Cost Savings of projects.

  • Co-ordinate with Safety, Quality & Compliance (SQC) team to ensure that Contract manufacturers and suppliers are compliant with SQC regulations
  • Jointly conduct Quality audit of suppliers to ensure compliance to Quality specs
  • Supplier profiling, screening & selecting supplier as per specification, less lead-time, reliability and through creating competitive situation (evaluating Vendor Scorecard)
  • New vendor development jointly with internal stakeholders, Vendor Scorecard development for RM/PM
  • Delivering company financial targets with regards to PPV, Working Capital (NWC) & Cost Savings of projects.
  • Negotiate with Suppliers and Contract manufacturer stake holders to ensure that ther portfolio receives proper priority in production and supply schedules.
  • Co-ordinate with suppliers for supply of RM & PM, Co-packers for supply
  • Follow up with Finance on outstanding payments of suppliers.
  • Preparation of SLAs along with regional legal team & other stakeholders, Contract/ Agreement signed with Major RM/PM Suppliers with help of legal team
  • Raising Online Approvals in System for RM, PM (Ariba / MyContract) and initiate e Procurement sourcing. Anaplan Submissions for RM/PM
  • Involve in Capex related procurement
  • Forecasting rate for RM/PM (Quarterly and yearly Procurement plan for RM/PM)
  • Harmonization of PM in the region (e.g. mold developments)
  • Drive cost saving Projects
  • Benchmarking RM, PM and identify & proactively eliminate mono sourced RM & PM

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years FMCG experience in Supply Chain / Procurement are preferred.

Engineering degree with commercial background/ Commerce back ground with sound knowledge of cost management with sound business knowledge
