Job Title : Quality Assurance Engineer - Automation (Industry : Software Development)

• Location : Colombo, Sri Lanka
• Work Type : Onsite
• Work Hours : 8 am to 5 pm
• Working Days: Monday to Friday

Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or equivalent from a recognized university
• 2 - 3 years of experience in Quality Assurance with a strong focus on software testing and test automation
• Experience with software testing methodologies, quality standards, and best practices
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Strong knowledge of software development processes, including Agile and Scrum
• Proficiency in test management and bug tracking tools (e.g. JIRA, TestRail)
• Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks (Selenium WebDriver, Appium, Rest Assured, Cucumber, Junit, TestNG, JMeter, AWS)

Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Proficiency in Agile Software Quality Assurance and Software Engineering concepts
• Proven experience in manual testing for web and mobile based applications.
• Ability to create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test cases using design techniques
• Familiarity with Cloud Computing concepts and their relevance to software testing
• Thorough understanding in Object Oriented Programming concepts in a programming language such as Java
• Hands on experience with functional test automation tools such as Selenium WebDriver, Postman, Appium etc.
• Experience with performance testing using JMeter and basic knowledge of SQL
