Job Title : Senior Data Analyst

Location : Colombo, Sri Lanka

Working Hours : 6 am to 3 pm

Working Days : Weekdays

Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Act as  single point of contact in the data and analytics space, liaison between data engineers and business stakeholders to comprehend data requirements and design efficient data and analytics solutions
  
• Conducting complex data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights Designing visually appealing and effective data visualizations
• Collaborating with business stakeholders to understand their data and reporting needs
• Developing and maintaining data models and dashboards in Tableau
• Generating ad-hoc reports and analyses as requested
• Creating and maintaining interactive and informative dashboards for business users
• Ensuring data accuracy and consistency in reports and dashboards
• Automating reporting processes where possible
• Implementing data governance policies and procedures
• Ensuring compliance with data privacy regulations

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
• Proven experience as a BI data analyst with a strong track record of collaborating with the business
• Proficiency with Tableau or equivalent BI tools
• Strong SQL skills for data querying, manipulation, and optimization
• Proficiency in Python for scripting and automation of data processes
• Experience working with large volumes of data and complex data models
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
• Experience with telecom industry preferred
