Key Responsibilities
Sales & Marketing
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers through various channels including email, video/telephone calls, in-person meetings, and industry events.
- Understand customer business needs and ensure timely service delivery.
- Represent the company professionally at industry events, trade shows, and client presentations.
- Highlight product features and benefits, manage pricing discussions, and prepare sales orders and related documentation.
- Maintain an efficient call schedule to ensure optimal coverage of assigned territories.
- Utilize sales management software and marketing data to enhance sales performance.
- Allocate territorial responsibilities and manage sales staff coverage efficiently.
- Oversee Sales Department performance, budgeting, sales forecasts, and client/product responsibilities.
- Equip the team with necessary tools and knowledge to serve customers and achieve company objectives.
- Manage recruitment, training, performance reviews, and disciplinary actions per company policy.
- Motivate and coach team members through regular performance evaluations and meetings.
- Collaborate with commercial leaders to define and achieve regional sales targets and goals.
- Develop a national distribution strategy covering customers, pricing, product portfolios, and regional outreach.
- Conduct regular site visits, including customer meetings and job site evaluations.
- Coordinate with Marketing on packaging specifications and ensure compliance with branding standards.
- Maintain accurate SAP product part number records.
- Collaborate with Marketing to strategize product launches and promotions (e.g., displays, brochures, social media).
- Provide strategic feedback to improve product positioning and marketing communications.
- Ensure product literature and documentation are up-to-date.
- Support Customer Service teams in responding to product inquiries and sample requests.
Financial
- Contribute to the annual Sales Budget by setting targets for new and existing business.
- Analyze financial data to improve margins and create effective pricing strategies.
- Monitor market pricing trends across all regions and update records regularly.
- Maintain a comprehensive national pricing structure.
- Collaborate with Finance and Operations to find cost-saving opportunities.
- Maintain documentation related to product development and coordinate with consultants for reporting.
- Product Development & Training
- Monitor market trends to identify product opportunities and enhance offerings.
- Act as the internal product knowledge expert and conduct training for the Sales team.
- Ensure Sales Representatives maintain baseline product knowledge.
- Keep the team informed of updates on SRT and competitor products.
- Set quality standards and SOPs for all product lines.
- Define specifications including coating, thickness, and color.
- Collaborate with customers to identify and develop new product requirements.
General
- Uphold high professional ethics and knowledge when engaging with clients, partners, and internal teams.
- Provide technical guidance and support to end-users and contractors.
- Demonstrate professionalism and integrity in all communications.
- Comply with and promote company health and safety standards.
- Perform any other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Degree in Marketing, Business Management, or a related field.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong strategic thinking and planning capabilities.
- Highly organized and self-driven with a collaborative mindset.
- Strong technical aptitude and negotiation skills.
- Presentation and people management experience are essential.
