Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
• A Master's degree is preferred Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in supply chain management, strategic sourcing, or category management Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills
• Excellent leadership and team management capabilities Strong negotiation and contract management skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment Results-oriented, proactive, collaborative, and a strong communicator

Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement category strategies that align with the overall supply chain and company objectives
• Conduct market analysis, risk assessments, and spend analysis to identify opportunities for cost reduction, quality improvement, and supplier consolidation
• Define sourcing strategies, including make-or-buy decisions, supplier selection, and contract negotiation
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure reliable supply and optimal pricing
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of category managers and sourcing professionals
• Set performance goals, provide coaching, and ensure continuous skill development within the team
• Work closely with operations, logistics, finance, and other departments to ensure alignment on category strategies and procurement activities Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives, including alternative sourcing, process improvements, and value engineering
• Monitor and manage category budgets, including cost forecasting, spend tracking, and variance analysis Identify potential supply chain risks, including supplier dependency, geopolitical factors, and supply disruptions
• Develop and implement mitigation strategies, including dual sourcing, inventory buffers, and contingency planning.
• Prepare and present reports to senior management, highlighting key insights, challenges, and opportunities
