Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Graphic Design, Data Science, Engineering, Statistics, or a related field. Masters degree is a plus.
• Minimum three years of experience in graphic design, preferably within data-driven policy development, traditional/modern media communications context.
• Experience producing data visualizations preferred; training support provided as needed.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud software for design: InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop; Premiere and AfterEffects experience a plus.
• Demonstrated experience with data visualization software, such as PowerBI and Tableau, is advantageous.
• Proficiency in Canva is a must.
• Ability to self-manage and prioritize to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with research analysts to interpret data findings and transform insights into engaging narratives.

• Conceptualize and create graphics for various communications channels, including social media, Company's website, promotional materials, reports, proposals, corporate documents, manuals, and job aids, ensuring alignment with Company's style and branding guidelines.

• Keenness to advance truth, justice and common good through the development of engaging social media content that spark conversations which can lead to transformational impact and change in public policy.

• Develop multimedia content combining data, narrative, and visuals for web, social media, and presentations.

• Provide graphic design and branding support for Company's research projects, including design consultation and data visualization.

• Enhance Canva and Illustrator templates for team use and assist with publishing and formatting.

• Contribute to the development of corporate branding guidelines.

• Assist in building graphic design capacity within the communications team and among staff.

• Ensure branding alignment for Company's sub-brands.

• Support organizational communications, including business development, event branding, and video production.

• Influence strategy and lead team in executing communication both in traditional and digital media with a high level of polish, solving a range of product challenges.
