Requirements

• Bachelors degree/ HND in graphic design, Fashion Design, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience as an Apparel Graphic Designer.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)/ CorelDraw.
• Strong understanding of typography, color theory, and composition.
• An understanding of fashion trends.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in design execution. (An eye for detail and a passion for fashion).
• Portfolio showcasing apparel graphic design projects.

Responsibilities

• Attend style introduction meetings and collect all the information related to new developments.
• Support and provide technical expertise pertaining to the relevant style and customer specification.
• Coordinate with development engineers, pattern makers and designers to ensure timely solutions are provided.
• Gather correct details and important specifications of all the graphics and designs from relevant personnel and also customers (where applicable) Ensure all the graphics and logos are print feasible and prepared as per customer requirements.
• Support in conducting modifications and amendments to meet the customer hit rate.

Size set stage:

• Obtain size set patterns from pattern makers and ensure adherence to set standards
• Support in making amendments to artworks and re-size all the prints including designs and logos.
• Prepare final artworks for the size sets.
• Print and issue positives to screen making departments. (for both sample and production)
• Print and issue line positives for print alignment for both sample room and production.
• Provide accurate timelines for design and development teams to ensure meeting of deadlines.
• Continuous research to stay abreast of globally trending fashion apparel graphics with the ability to convert into compelling seasonal mood boards/ presentations to be used internally and externally.
• Stay abreast of latest printing, embroidery and mix media techniques and apply as needed

Operational Support:

• Prepare proportional/ technical artwork files and ensure quality standards.
• Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Maintain organized documentation for all design projects.
• Support Design team with presentation documents as needed to showcase graphic newness.
• Support teams in feasibility, capability and options with regards to design process
• Maintain the design data base and design security.
• Keep record on customer-wise style details and number of screens.
• Maintaining and keeping records of Inks and positive film stocks.
• Perform additional duties commensurate with the current role, as and when requested by management
