Position: VoIP specialist

JOB ROLE

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelors degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years in telecommunications engineering, with experience in network design, troubleshooting.
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in network protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, SIP, VOIP).
  • Knowledge of telecommunications systems (e.g., PBX (FreePBX), VoIP, MPLS). (for example: Asterisk)
  • Familiarity with network management tools and software (e.g., Wireshark, SolarWinds).
  • Hands-on experience with fiber optics, wireless technologies, and satellite communications.
• Certifications (will be considered as an advantage): CCNA, CCNP, JNCIP, or related telecom certifications.
• Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities, strong communication skills, and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
• Attention to Detail: Ability to manage complex systems with meticulous attention to network configurations and documentation.

Responsibilities: 

• Network Design & Development: Design, implement, and manage complex telecommunications networks, including VoIP, data, and video systems.
• Systems Maintenance: Maintain and optimize telecommunication systems by performing regular testing, troubleshooting, and repairs.
• Performance Monitoring: Monitor network performance, analyzing data to prevent outages, and implementing improvements.
• Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently to minimize downtime and enhance service quality.
• Documentation & Reporting: Document configurations, network layouts, and processes; provide regular reports on system status and performance.
