Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior Executive – Sales and Marketing to support and grow export and import ocean business volumes. The role focuses on client retention, market expansion, development of end-to-end logistics solutions, and strong relationship management within the shipping and logistics sector. The position requires market awareness, sales execution capability, and the ability to work closely with internal teams to deliver value-added solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Retain and grow existing export and import ocean volumes through continuous engagement with current clients and trade partners.

  • Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities to expand export and import market presence.

  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to develop end-to-end logistics solutions, including intermodal services and value-added solutions.

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure long-term partnerships and customer satisfaction.

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to provide actionable insights and adapt sales strategies accordingly.

Qualifications & Experience

Educational Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree approved by UGC or equivalent professional qualification with a minimum of 3 years experience

OR

  • Local or London O/L with 6 passes, including C for Maths and English

AND

  • Minimum 2 passes at A/L or successful completion of a UGC-approved A/L equivalent foundation course with a minimum of 5 years experience

Experience & Skills

  • Minimum 5 years executive-level experience in sales within the shipping or logistics industry.

  • Strong understanding of export and import operations and market dynamics.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; familiarity with CRM tools will be an added advantage.
