WE ARE HIRING: Executive - Tax



Job Role

• Prepare and file individual income tax returns in accordance with Sri Lankan tax laws
• Analyze income sources including employment, business, investment, and other income as defined under the Inland Revenue Act Apply personal reliefs and deductions as per current regulations Ensure compliance with quarterly installment payments and self-assessment tax obligations
• Stay updated with amendments to the Inland Revenue Act and communicate changes to clients
• Prepare and file VAT, PAYE, WHT, and SSCL returns in compliance with IRD regulations
• Ensure timely tax payments and maintain proper documentation Assist clients in responding to tax notices, audits, and assessments Maintain accurate and confidential records of all tax filings and client communications
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and high-quality service delivery



Requirements

• Following a professional qualification in CA/CIMA or ACCA 1-3 years of experience in Sri Lankan individual tax filing or a similar role
• Strong understanding of the Inland Revenue Act and its amendments Familiarity with IRD e-filing systems and tax software Excellent communication skills in English
• High attention to detail and analytical thinking
• Ability to manage multiple clients and meet strict deadlines
