WE ARE HIRING: Senior Net Sec Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership & People Management

• Provide strong technical leadership to the NetSec team, fostering a high-performing and accountable culture.

• Coach and mentor engineers, ensuring continuous development and certification progression.

• Facilitate effective workload distribution to maintain high productivity and service delivery.

• Conduct regular 1:1 meetings, team reviews, and performance discussions.

• Promote knowledge sharing and collaboration across the team.

• Address performance concerns in a timely and professional manner.

Technical Operations & Support

• Own and manage incidents, service requests, and changes in accordance with ITILv4 processes.

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex network/security issues in a timely manner.

• Deliver exceptional remote and onsite support to managed services clients.

• Monitor and maintain customer infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, wireless, and other network components.

• Execute upgrades, security patches, and configurations across supported platforms.

• Collaborate with Solutions Architects and Projects team on documentation and design maintenance.

• Lead root cause analysis for recurring issues and implement service improvement plans.

Service Excellence & Stakeholder Management

• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

• Ensure consistent and timely communication with clients throughout the case lifecycle.

• Drive customer satisfaction by meeting or exceeding SLAs and delivering a high-quality support experience.

• Engage with business stakeholders to ensure delivered solutions align with requirements and are fit-for-purpose.

Process & Compliance

• Champion adherence to company policies, ITSM procedures, and regulatory compliance (data security, privacy, etc.).

• Oversee accurate documentation and reporting across incidents, changes, configurations (CMDB), and SOPs.

• Promote automation and process optimization for scalability and efficiency.

• Ensure timely submission of team administrative tasks (timesheets, expenses, etc.).

Innovation & Continuous Improvement

• Identify and implement improvements in processes, tools, and technologies to enhance service delivery.

• Encourage and lead internal technical sessions and knowledge-building initiatives.

• Contribute to the creation and improvement of standard operating procedures and technical build guides.
