Worksing Hours 09:00 AM 05:30 PM (Monday to Friday) 09:00 AM to 01:00 PM (Saturday)

Working Days Monday to Saturday

Working Mode On Site

Location Rajagiriya.



The Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Chandling Manager to ensure the timely and efficient provision of supplies and services to vessels including food, equipment, spare parts, and other essential maritime provisions.


️ Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee procurement and supply of essential items for vessels

  • Ensure timely, cost-effective delivery in line with maritime requirements

  • Liaise with ship captains and crew to assess supply needs

  • Negotiate with suppliers for optimal pricing and supply chain reliability

  • Ensure compliance with port operations and customs regulations

  • Monitor inventory and manage stock availability

  • Maintain quality standards in line with ISO and industry norms

  • Keep accurate records using ERP and inventory systems

  • Resolve supply delays or quality concerns

  • Support chandelling operations as needed

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Maritime Studies, Business Administration, or a related field

  • 3 - 5 years experience in Ship Chandling, Procurement, or Logistics

  • Strong knowledge of port operations, customs regulations, and shipping logistics

  • Collaborative team player with excellent communication and PR skills

  • Proficiency in MS Office

  • A passion for work and professional growth
