Key Responsibilities:     

• Responsible for implementing controls and procedures for petty cash handling, including designated custodians, regular reconciliations, and documentation requirements. 
• Conduct periodic audits to ensure compliance and accuracy.    
• Should perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy between company records and bank statements.    
• Investigate and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner and update financial records with reconciled bank transactions.     
• Reconcile various balance sheet accounts on a periodic basis to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data and identify and investigate any variances or discrepancies in reconciled accounts.     
• Process and manage ad hoc payments as required, including vendor payments, reimbursements, and other miscellaneous expenses.     
• Ensure adherence to internal controls and financial regulations in all payment processes.     
• Should contribute to the analysis of financial data and trends to support decision-making processes.
• Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and company policies.     
• Participate in internal audits and implement recommended improvements to financial processes and controls.

Qualifications and Experience:     

• A bachelors degree or equivalent professional qualification in Finance/Accountancy from a reputed university.     
• 2-3 years experience in a similar capacity Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.     
• Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements.     
• Sound interpersonal skills & communication skills
