Requirements:

  • University Degree holder, preferably in the field of Engineering.
  • ISO 9001:2015 Standard Certified Internal Auditor.
  • ISO 14001:2015 Standard Certified Internal Auditor.
  • ISO 45001:2018 Standard Certified Internal Auditor.
  • Preferable and ISO 17025:2017 Standard Certified Internal Auditor.
  • Preferably with ESG Certification / Qualification.
  • At least 3 years work experience in a managerial capacity, in a reputable and ISO9001 certified manufacturing organization with a complement of at least 180 employees.
  • At least 3 years work experience in a managerial capacity, in a reputable and ISO14001 certified manufacturing organization with a complement of at least 180 employees.
  • At least 3 years work experience in a managerial capacity, in a reputable and ISO 45001 certified manufacturing organization with a complement of at least 180 employees.
  • Working knowledge and exposure to SIX SIGMA or KAIZEN or 5S and TPM or other similar recognized management tools, concepts or standards.
  • Preferably, at least 2 years work experience in ISO 17025 accredited manufacturing organization.
  • Preferable with at least 1 year ESG work experience.
  • Excellent, oral and written English, communication skills.
  • Highly proficient in the MS Office software applications, particularly on MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.
  • Possess excellent observation, systematic problem solving and time management skills.
  • Possess initiative, result-driven attitude, and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Trustworthy, reliable, dependable, respectful and open-minded.
  • Possess excellent interpersonal skills, ability to interact with superiors and subordinates, and ability to motivate superiors and subordinates appropriately.
  • Possess excellent skills in developing/establishing procedures and/or guidelines and/or systems either from scratch or based on relevant sources and/or references.


Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Establishing, implementing, maintaining and improving the company's quality, environmental and occupational
  • health and safety management system as per the ISO 9001, ISO14001 and ISO 45001 standards and other related and relevant standard requirements.
  • Ensuring that the established, implemented, existing and maintained quality, environmental and occupational health and safety management system is appropriate, suitable, practical, effective, efficient and beneficial to the company as intended.
  • Ensuring that an Integrated Management System Manual, Policy and Process Plan are established, maintained, revised or updated when required and/or necessary, and are ready for assessment of internal and external interested parties.
  • Ensuring that the company's quality, environmental and occupational health and safety management system is certified, and the certification continuously renewed annually, by a reputable ISO 9001, ISO14001 and ISO 45001 certification body.
  • Developing, reviewing, documenting, approving, revising when necessary, and maintaining.

  • Overall responsibility in the control, safekeeping and maintenance of the company's quality, environmental and occupational health and safety management system documentations and records.
  • Overall responsibility in the planning and approval of internal audits of the company's quality, environmental and occupational health and safety management system.
  • Overall responsibility in ensuring that internal audits of the company's quality, environmental and occupational health and safety management system are carried out annually, and/or when required and necessary.
  • Overall responsibility in ensuring that risk assessment of the company's business and operation is carried out bi-annually.
  • Overall responsibility in ensuring that Failure Mode Effects Analysis risk assessment of the company's production processes and operation is carried annually, and/or when required and necessary.
  • Overall responsibility in ensuring that environmental aspect and impact risk assessment of the company's processes and operation is carried out annually, and/or when required and necessary.
  • Overall responsibility in ensuring that occupational health and safety hazard risk assessment of the company's processes and operation is carried out annually, and/or when required and necessary.
  • Overall responsibility in ensuring that monthly quality, environmental and occupational health and safety operational performance assessment is carried out for all production areas of operation on a monthly basis.
  • Overall responsibility in carrying out management review on an annual basis to report on the quality, environmental and occupational health and safety performance of the company, the improvements required and the resources needed to top management.
  • Overall responsibility in ensuring that production waste materials are properly and appropriately handled, segregated, disposed or recycled, treated and transported in an environmentally-friendly manner and in accordance with the Sharjah Municipality and the Federal UAE Government requirements.
  • Overall responsibility in ensuring that legal requirements pertaining to the company's quality, environmental and occupational health and safety processes and operation are identified, obtained, and compiled to enable legal requirement compliance assessment. 
  • Overall responsibility in carrying out quality, environmental and occupational health and safety legal requirements compliance assessment and evaluation annually, and/or when required and necessary.
  • Overall responsibility in ensuring that occupational health and safety processes are applied, consistently followed and and effective monitored and controlled to prevent work-related injuries, ill-health and death at the workplace.
  • Overall responsibility in ensuring the readiness of the company for planned ISO certification audits, customer audits, government inspections, mock drills and other third-party visits or inspections.
  • Ensuring the proper, adequate, appropriate and effective processing of NCRs, customer complaints, change request applications, raw material receiving inspection, product inspection and other quality control inspection functions by the Quality Control Department.
  • Ensure that effective receiving of raw materials, appropriate, safe and organized storage of raw materials, release of raw materials to production and tight and effective control of raw materials inventory are applied and enforced at the Stores Department.
  • Ensure that the customer satisfaction level is determined, processed and documented by the Sales Department as per the ISO 9001 requirement to be presented to the third party certification body during surveillance and re-certification audits.
  • Ensure that the company's design and development procedure complies with the requirements of the ISO 9001 standard and that such procedure are applied into the production operation and corresponding records maintained, to presented to the third party certification body during surveillance and re-certification audits.
  • Ensure that training related to the improvement of the company's quality, environmental and occupational health and safety management system and performance are planned and carried out and are recorded by the Human Resources Department to be presented to the certification body during third party surveillance and re-certification audits.
  • Ensure that supplier capability assessment and supplier performance assessment are carried out or performed by the Purchasing Department as per the ISO 9001 requirement to be presented to the third party certification body during surveillance and re-certification audits.
  • Ensure that machine breakdown and preventive maintenance as well as the calibration of inspection, test and measuring equipment are carried out by the Machine Maintenance Department as per the ISO 9001 requirement to be presented to the third party certification body during surveillance and re-certification audits.
  • Cross-functional coordination with others areas of operation within the company relating to the company's quality, environmental and occupational health and safety management system and relevant performance targets and objectives.
  • Represent the company on third party audits, inspections, external interested party consultation and dialogue and other forums.
  • Provide training  company employees based on the company's quality, environmental and occupational health and safety management system and as per ISO requirements annually and/or when required and necessary.
  • Ensure that weekly, monthly and yearly data and information on the company's quality, environmental and occupational health and safety processes, activities and performance is compiled to be used as input data in determining the company's overall quality, environmental and occupational health and safety performance.
  • Provide guidance, direction and advice to personnel within all areas of operation with regards to any quality, environmental and occupational health and safety matters and issues that may affect their work performance and the performance of their work areas, when required and/or when requested.
  • Plan, organize and coordinate an environmental and occupational health and safety monitoring and measurement (air quality, stack monitoring, noise level) of the company's site to be carried out by a Sharjah Municipality-approved third-party agency, annually.
