Requirements:
Educational Qualifications
- A Bachelor's or Postgraduate degree in communications/media or a similar field; an MBA or CIM would be advantageous.
Professional Experience
- Minimum of three years of professional experience in Communications, PR, Brand, or Marketing.
- Fluent in English and Sinhalese, with excellent translation skills.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; knowledge of SharePoint and design applications (Adobe, Canva) is advantageous.

Responsibilities
- Support the region by creating compelling and engaging copy and design in collaboration with regional stakeholders, delivering communications through multiple channels to inform and engage colleagues.
- Collaborate closely with the HR team on local engagement initiatives, creating engaging, brand-led content and design.
- Translate communications and Group policy documents into Sinhala with ease, efficiency, and a high level of accuracy.
- Work proactively with stakeholders to generate new ideas and campaigns to support the delivery of local and Group strategies.
- Develop a comprehensive regional communication strategy in alignment with the Group and regional strategies.
- Support the embedding of our Vision, Mission, and Values, aligning messaging across all internal communications.
- Manage the communications schedule planner for all regional communication channels, including email, events, intranet, noticeboards, digital signage, and social channels (posted by the Group pages).
- Provide a regular stream of news, stories, and visual content for use in group communications both internally and externally.
- Ensure brand ownership of Company within the region, maintaining strict adherence to and compliance with brand guidelines across all media.
- Support the Sales & Marketing team by ensuring the relevance of marketing presentations, managing and maintaining the regional Collaboration Hub, and keeping marketing materials and displays current and high-quality.
- Coordinate, create content, and manage regional town halls.
- Craft keynote speeches and messaging for the regional CEO and GM when required.
- Support the region with external communications/publications, including managing crises and critical communications. In consultation with the Group Head of Communications, assist in responding to media outlets and channels and make appropriate recommendations.
