Position:  Senior QA Engineer - Automation

JOB ROLE

Requirements:

• 5+ years of hands-on quality engineering experience.
• Strong expertise in Cypress with JavaScript is required.
• Familiarity with API automation and experience with Java.
• Experience with CI/CD technologies and pipeline validation.
• Proficiency in SQL, preferably with PostgreSQL.
• Excellent communication and mentoring skills.
• Knowledge of Atlassian Jira and Confluence.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize 5+ years of quality engineering experience to ensure the delivery of high-quality software in a fast-paced environment, focusing on both client-installed and SaaS products.
• Apply Object-Oriented Programming principles while implementing automated testing using modern frameworks and tools, such as Cypress, Selenium, TestNG, and Cucumber/Gherkin.
• Implement API automation and leverage a background in Java for effective testing.
• Work with CI/CD technologies to manage deployment integrations and validate pipelines using GitHub or GitLab.
• Query and validate data using SQL, with a preference for PostgreSQL experience.
• Communicate effectively and mentor team members, contributing innovative ideas and solutions to enhance the testing process.
• Utilize Atlassian tools, including Jira and Confluence, for project management and documentation.
