Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced SAP ABAP Consultant to design, develop, and maintain SAP solutions using ABAP technologies. This role involves collaborating with users and consultants to gather requirements, perform feasibility studies, and deliver high-quality technical solutions while adhering to organizational standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in requirement gathering and collaborate with users and consultants.
• Analyze technical and business requirements and translate them into technical designs.
• Conduct feasibility studies, R&D, prototyping, PoC, and effort estimations.
• Prepare technical specifications and project documentation.
• Develop, customize, enhance, and maintain codes ensuring optimal performance.
• Perform performance tuning and code checks across multiple functions.
• Implement changes/enhancements using ABAP technologies (ALVs, Forms, BADIs, user-exits, BAPIs, RFCs, IDOCs, OData, Web Services, Workflows, FIORI).
• Conduct functional and non-functional testing (unit testing, integration testing).
• Ensure compliance with development and documentation standards.

Requirements

• 2-4 years of experience in SAP ABAP/4 Programming with SAP development tools.
• Expertise in ABAP classical, interactive reporting, and module pool programming.
• Experience with Forms, BADIs, user-exits, BAPIs, RFCs, BDC recordings, BTP, PI, PO, CPI.
• Knowledge of IDOCs, OData, Web Services, Workflows, and FIORI (added advantage).
• Strong debugging skills and experience with SQL Trace and SAP runtime analysis.
• Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and documentation skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
