Job Overview
We are looking for a Senior Pre-Sales Solution Architect to join our team as a technical thought leader and strategic advisor. In this role, you'll collaborate closely with our sales teams, partners, and customers to design, document, and present high-value, scalable, and mission-critical solutions.

You'll play a pivotal role in defining solution strategy, shaping product roadmaps, and influencing key customer decisions - all while ensuring our solutions are well-documented, visually represented, and aligned with business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Technical Leadership & Solution Design:

    • Act as the technical lead for all RTLS and IoT solution designs, ensuring alignment with best practices and industry standards.
    • Develop comprehensive architecture designs, including high-level conceptual models and detailed technical blueprints, using tools such as Visio, Lucidchart, or Azure Architecture Center.
    • Define and refine enterprise-scale IoT and RTLS solution architectures, integrating IoT Hub, Digital Twins, Functions, and Security.
    • Provide expert guidance on IoT device connectivity, sensor integration, cloud data pipelines, and edge computing strategies.
    • Work closely with engineering and product teams to shape the technical roadmap and ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and future-proof.
  • Pre-Sales Strategy & Enterprise Consulting:

    • Serve as the technical lead in high-value, complex pre-sales engagements, influencing key customer decisions.
    • Lead executive-level technical presentations, solution workshops, and architectural reviews with enterprise clients.
    • Collaborate with sales teams to develop and execute go-to-market strategies for IoT solutions.
    • Assess and mitigate technical risks in proposed solutions, ensuring robust, scalable architectures.
    • Assist in crafting tender responses, proposals, and technical sales documentation.
  • Customer & Partner Engagement:

    • Act as a trusted advisor to customers, guiding them on IoT transformation, digital twin strategies, and RTLS adoption.
    • Conduct deep-dive technical workshops, helping customers define their RTLS and IoT roadmaps.
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key industry partners, system integrators, and solution providers.
  • Solution Documentation & Technical Architecture Diagrams:

    • Own and maintain the technical documentation repository, ensuring that all designs are accurate, up-to-date, and well-structured.
    • Create detailed technical schematics, network architecture diagrams, data flow charts, and integration workflows.
  • Knowledge Sharing & Team Leadership:

    • Mentor and coach junior solution architects and sales engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence.
    • Conduct internal training sessions and knowledge-sharing workshops to upskill teams on IoT architectures.
    • Advocate for emerging IoT capabilities, innovations, and cloud security best practices.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Essential:

    • 8+ years of experience in a solution architecture, pre-sales, or technical consulting role, with a strong focus on IoT solutions.
    • Proven leadership experience in designing and delivering enterprise-scale IoT, RTLS, and cloud solutions.
    • Expertise in IoT services, including IoT Hub, Digital Twins, Event Grid, Functions, and Monitor.
    • Experience with RTLS technologies such as BLE, RFID, UWB, Wi-Fi, GPS, and their integration with cloud platforms.
    • Strong knowledge of IoT device communication protocols (MQTT, CoAP, HTTP, AMQP).
    • Deep understanding of cloud networking, identity management, and cybersecurity best practices.
    • Extensive experience in documenting and visualizing solutions using tools like Visio, Lucidchart, or Azure Architecture Center.
  • Desirable:

    • Experience in healthcare, logistics, or mission-critical industries.
    • Microsoft Azure IoT Developer or Solutions Architect certification.
    • Experience with Azure AI/ML services for IoT analytics.
    • Hands-on experience with Python, .NET, or PowerShell for cloud deployments.
