Position: Senior Executive - Product Development

About the Role:
We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Product Development Executive to join our team. This role requires a keen eye for fashion trends, strong communication skills, and the ability to coordinate product development processes efficiently. If you have a background in textiles and a drive for innovation, this is a fantastic opportunity to grow in the industry.

Key Accountabilities:

• Coordinate with customers regularly to understand their requirements, ensuring the development of high-quality products and timely sample delivery.
• Analyze market conditions and identify product trends to develop innovative concepts.
• Collaborate with designers to incorporate new trends into seasonal product offerings, adhering to seasonal timelines.
• Establish testing standards with suppliers and guide them through development and bulk processes to meet customer expectations.
• Liaise with testing laboratories to ensure product developments meet the required standards.
• Work closely with production teams to ensure a seamless transition from development to bulk manufacturing.
• Maintain regular communication with customers to address challenges in commercialized products, gather feedback, and assess monthly projections.

Qualifications & Experience:

Educational Qualifications:

• Degree in Textile Technology or an equivalent professional qualification.

Professional Experience:

• 1-2 years of experience in product development, preferably in the textile or fashion industry.

Personal Characteristics & Skills:

• Passion for and updated knowledge of emerging fashion/market trends and consumer behavior.
• Strong communication, listening, and presentation skills.
• Negotiation skills and the ability to build strong relationships.
• Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to plan, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
