Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related field OR a qualified member of ICA/CIMA/ACCA
• 3-5 years of progressive experience in a similar role, ideally within the hospitality sector, particularly in a star-classed hotel or related entity.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with a strong ability to lead and develop teams.
• Proven experience in training and mentoring staff to enhance performance and productivity.
• Proficiency in MS Office suite, especially Excel, with advanced skills in financial modeling and analysis.
• Hands-on experience in managing financial and process audits, with a deep understanding of auditing principles and practices.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate monthly and quarterly management accounts, including profit and loss statements, cash flow statements, and balance sheets and submit reports to shareholders.
• Optimize the company's working capital position through strict control and follow-up on receivables, as well as monitoring creditors.
• Oversee all invoicing, payments, and receipts submitted by direct reports, ensuring adherence to company policies and standards.
• Successfully manage internal and external audits by delegating tasks to staff and facilitating the audit process.
• Prepare operational and non-operational annual budgets, in consultation of Group Management and the Company's senior management
• Ensure statutory and non-statutory compliance with tax and other relevant regulations/submissions relating to Company.
• Responsible for managing the team, including resource allocation, performance management, training, staff motivation, and other functions as per company requirements
