Requirements:
Candidate Profile
- Postgraduate Degree, MBA, CIMA, CIM, Postgraduate Diploma or an Equivalent Degree from a reputed university.
- Minimum 7-8 years experience in the industry with 2-3 years experience in a similar capacity
- Excellent leadership skills
- Possess a strategic & innovative mindset.
- Sound interpersonal skills & communication skills
- Exposure into Yarn would be an added advantage
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Responsible to manage the sales topline budget across the assigned account to maintain and grow revenue through maintaining and monitoring the sales budget and collaborating to fill pipeline
- Should develop an appropriate customer contact database, identify key decision makers, and undertake periodic travel to meet with local/overseas buying offices in order to carry out comparative shopping reviews and expand customer base.
- Analyze market conditions, identify current fabric buys, market pricing structures, and liaise with local customers in order to ensure whether customer requirements are identified and effectively fulfilled and maintain an appropriate price list & the landscape document.
- Ensure that pricing strategies are consistent and achievable in order to obtain the best benefit to the organization achieving budgeted bottom line whilst expanding market share simultaneously.
- Should gain a thorough understanding of customers buying procedures/seasonal calendar and identify appropriate service levels for each customer to ensure that product presentations are in line with customer requirements.
- Review on an on-going basis the product range that needs to be added to the portfolio and corresponding sampling requirements (by product and color), in order to identify any business opportunities/ developments required for the targeted markets.
- Should work closely with the development team to obtain the required technical support and initiate the preparation of theoretical costing as and when required and oversee and manage the costing process.
- Ensure that the team is effectively managed, resourced and trained and appropriate sales targets and KPIs are allocated/achieved to meet agreed business objectives such as optimum capacity utilization and customer retention and drive performance and accountability.
- Should gain a thorough understanding of customers buying procedures/seasonal calendar and identify appropriate service levels for each customer.
- Should facilitate and call for meetings with internal and external stakeholders where needed in order to provide quick and fast solutions to problems that may cause damage to the company and the customer.
- Ensure appropriate PFP stock levels are maintained for target market & participate at strategic pre-production meetings to address relevant issues taken up for discussion.
- Should prepare the monthly Sales & Marketing report and make information available for management decision making.
