Business Controller

The position

Business Controller is a key position within the company. This role is responsible for providing accurate and insightful financial analysis, strategic planning, and decision support to management. The Business Controller works closely with various departments, including finance, accounting, sales, R&D, operations, and senior leadership, to drive financial performance and ensure effective resource allocation. The Business Controller acts as a business partner to top managers in the company.

About you

To be able to feel comfortable in this position you should have an analytical mindset and be able to see and communicate business impact based on numbers. You should be a team player, who is comfortable working with people at different levels in the organization.

Requirements

1. Bachelor or Masters degree in finance, business administration, accounting or a related field

2. Proven experience in financial planning, analysis, and reporting, preferably in a similar role

3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights

4. Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis using spreadsheets and possibly financial software

5. Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial statement analysis
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders

6. Strong business acumen and the ability to understand the broader organizational context

7. Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and data integrity

8. Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment

9. Be a team player with the ability to work collaboratively across different levels in the company
